This course allows the learner to provide safety cover for swimming teaching, aqua aerobics or school teacher providing school swimming lessons.
The course is a mixture of practical and theory content, the learner will achieve knowledge and understanding of the role of safety cover at the pool.

This qualification lasts 2 years
Entry Requirements
• Be 14 years of age
• Be able to swim 25 metres (learners who cannot swim 25 metres must be capable of wading, and effecting a rescue, in a pool with a depth no greater that chest height)
• Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool

• 6 contact hours
• 2 hours of self study
